2-Year Limited Warranty

Unlimited-mileage protection for all rebuilt Land Rover engines, transfer cases, and differentials, backed by drivetrain specialists.

This limited warranty protects the original purchaser against qualifying defects in eligible rebuilt drivetrain components supplied by Rebuilt Remastered, including rebuilt engines, transfer cases, and differentials. Proper installation, maintenance, documentation, and prompt communication are required.

Warranty overview

Rebuilt engines, transfer cases, and differentials are covered for two years from the original purchase date, with no mileage limit during that term.

Coverage applies to the eligible rebuilt drivetrain component identified on the original Rebuilt Remastered invoice and is subject to the requirements, exclusions, and claim process described on this page.

Important If a possible warranty problem develops, stop operating the vehicle when safe to do so and contact Rebuilt Remastered before authorizing removal, disassembly, replacement, or outside repair of the covered component.

What is covered

During the warranty term, Rebuilt Remastered will evaluate eligible claims involving a qualifying defect in the supplied rebuilt drivetrain component or in the rebuilding workmanship.

  • Coverage applies to eligible rebuilt engines, transfer cases, and differentials identified on the original Rebuilt Remastered invoice.
  • Coverage applies to the supplied rebuilt component and the internal parts included as part of that rebuild.
  • The reported condition must be verified through reasonable diagnostic information requested by Rebuilt Remastered.
  • Any repair, replacement, teardown, or other remedy requires prior authorization from Rebuilt Remastered.

Owner & installer requirements

Warranty eligibility depends on proper installation, operation, and maintenance of the covered drivetrain component and the vehicle systems that support it. Keep all related invoices and records.

  • The covered component must be installed by a qualified repair facility or technician using accepted professional procedures.
  • Related vehicle systems and components must be inspected and corrected as needed before installation or operation.
  • For rebuilt engines, this includes applicable cooling, lubrication, fuel, intake, exhaust, electrical, and engine-management systems.
  • For transfer cases and differentials, related driveline components, mounting points, shafts, joints, fluids, seals, and connected components must be inspected and serviced as appropriate.
  • Required fluids, filters, seals, gaskets, hardware, and installation components must be appropriate for the vehicle and drivetrain application.
  • The vehicle must be operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s applicable service requirements.
  • The purchaser must retain the original invoice, installation invoice, maintenance records, VIN, mileage information, and requested diagnostic documentation.
  • Fitment must be confirmed before installation. Contact Rebuilt Remastered whenever the application or configuration is uncertain.

What is not covered

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by conditions outside the supplied rebuilt drivetrain component or by improper use, installation, diagnosis, service, or maintenance.

  • Overheating, oil starvation, loss of lubrication, contaminated or incorrect fluids, coolant loss, or operation after a warning indicator or abnormal condition appears.
  • Improper installation, incorrect fitment, misdiagnosis, installation debris, foreign-object damage, or failure of an external vehicle, driveline, electrical, cooling, lubrication, or related system.
  • Damage caused by worn, damaged, improperly installed, or incompatible components connected to the covered engine, transfer case, or differential.
  • Abuse, neglect, collision, racing, commercial competition, unauthorized modification, or operation outside the vehicle manufacturer’s intended use.
  • Normal maintenance items, external accessories, sensors, wiring, hoses, belts, mounts, fluids, filters, shafts, joints, or other components not supplied as part of the covered rebuilt component.
  • Work performed, parts replaced, or repairs authorized without prior written or documented approval from Rebuilt Remastered.
  • Incidental or consequential expenses, including labor, towing, storage, vehicle rental, downtime, lost income, freight, or other associated costs, except where expressly authorized in writing.

Warranty evaluation & remedy

Rebuilt Remastered may require inspection, additional diagnostics, or return of the covered engine, transfer case, differential, or affected component before deciding a claim.

After confirming an eligible claim, Rebuilt Remastered may, at its discretion, repair the covered component, provide a replacement, or provide another appropriate parts-based remedy.

Warranty liability is limited to the value of the covered part. Labor, downtime, freight, towing, storage, and other associated expenses are not covered unless Rebuilt Remastered expressly authorizes them in writing.

Core return requirement

When the purchase includes a core-return requirement, the original engine, transfer case, differential, or other applicable drivetrain core must be returned within 30 days and according to Rebuilt Remastered’s packaging and pickup instructions.

Failure to return a required core within the specified period may void warranty coverage for the applicable rebuilt component.
